Do I have to live in Warrensburg to get Ace?
One of Ace's best features is the remote support. As long as you have an adequate internet connection, PCMR will be able to troubleshoot any issues you have anywhere in the world.
Can I gift an Ace subscription to someone?
Absolutely! Give us a call at (660) 864-0039 to setup a new account and we will be able to add whoever you like to the account.
How many devices can I have with a basic plan?
You will get support for upto 1 device with the basic plan. This includes the remote monitoring and management and virus and malware protection.
What is not included?
We will support day to day issues with your chosen device. We will charge discounted labor for support including but limited to; screen replacement, parts and hardware installation, any devices that aren't included in your subscription, data recoveries, and virus scans.
I go to a school outside of Warrensburg. Can I still get a Ace for Students?
Yes you can! As long as you have a current student ID at an accredited school, you can get Ace for Students.

What's a 'Home Technology Audit'?
It's important to know what technology you have in the home. Annually we will schedule a time for us to enter your home and create an inventory of all the devices you have and any recommended changes. We will also build out a network map listing all the devices you have connected.
What type of devices do you support?
We support Windows, Mac, and Linux devices with Ace. Android and iOS devices can be added but won't be able to have our remote monitoring and management and antivirus software installed due to a compatibilitiy issue.
What type of payments do you accept?
We will accept all major debit/credit cards through our website. We can also take payment over the phone or in our store in Downtown Warrensburg.
What if I want to cancel?
Although we will be sad to see you go, we make cancelling hassle free. Just call our store at (660) 864-0039 and a technician will be able to uninstall our software and discontinue your subscription. The process may take up to 30 minutes.
Do you have a refund policy?
PCMR can provide refunds for current and future months. A credit will be issued to the credit card you have on file with us.
Can I pause my subscription?
Pausing you subscription is as simple as giving us a call. We will pause all payments and support while the account is paused. When you're ready, give us a call and we'll unpause the account and you will continue to receive the same fast, quality, and reliable support as before. There are no additional fees for pausing a subscription.

Remote Monitoring and Management
What is Remote Monitoring and Management?
Remote Monitoring and Mangement (RMM) allows PCMR to keep your computer operating system up to date and monitor for potential issues such as low disk space, malicous programs, and system errors. With this preventive support you will minimize the chance of system failures.
How will PCMR alert me when something is wrong?
PCMR will email or call if there is an issue with the device before we apply a fix. This is to ensure we don't undo something you were trying to do.
Can I opt out of the software?
You can opt out of having the software installed. If you choose to opt out you will be losing the managed updates and monitoring for potential issues. You will still be able to call, email, or receive remote support.
Virus and Malware Protection
What software do you use?
We use an enterprise version of Bitdefender, a leader in antivirus and ransomware protection.
I already have another antivirus suite. Do I have to use PCMR's?
You do not have to use our software although we do highly recommend the amazing deal you receive using Bitdefender through PCMR. We will also monitor any potential threats on our end when you use Bitdefender.
Why is antivirus so important?
Antivirus is what monitors your computer for potential threats from scammers and other bad actors. A good antivirus program should protect you from both common and new threats. It should also be able to monitor for changes to certain system files or programs logging activities such as logging your keyboard activity.
What is PCMR Cloud?
When disaster strikes it is important to have a backup of your data somewhere off-site. We have partnered with Datto out of Norwalk, Connecticut to support our cloud backup infrastructure.
What can I backup with the service?
You will be able to backup all your documents, pictures, and videos on up to 1 device.
Will you be able to see my data?
PCMR will not be able to see the data you backup to PCMR Cloud.
